Six core features that turn a search into a signed client, explained with real plan limits and honest constraints.
Prospectr handles the full outbound prospecting workflow in one place. Instead of stitching together a contact database, an audit tool, an email writer, and a CRM, you get all six steps in a single product. Here is what each step does.
| Step | Feature | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | AI Client Finder | Searches Google Maps and web directories for businesses that match your ideal client profile |
| 2 | Website Audit Engine | Runs instant performance, SEO, design, and conversion checks on any URL |
| 3 | Personalized Pitch Generator | Turns audit findings into specific pitch angles for your service |
| 4 | AI Cold Email Drafter | Writes cold emails using audit data instead of generic templates |
| 5 | Follow-Up Automation | Sends timed follow-up sequences when prospects do not reply |
| 6 | Reply & Deal Pipeline | Tracks opens, replies, and deals in a single dashboard |
The rest of this page explains each feature in detail, including how it works, what data it uses, and which plan it requires.
The AI Client Finder is the starting point of every prospecting session. You enter a location, an industry, and optionally a niche keyword. Prospectr queries Google Maps and web directories, pulls back matching businesses, and returns a list of prospects with their name, website, phone number, address, and rating.
Results are billed per lead, not per search. If you run the same search twice, cached results do not count against your monthly quota. That means you can revisit and filter previous results without burning credits.
On the Starter plan you get 750 prospects per month. On Pro that increases to 4,000. On Expert, 10,000. Those numbers come directly from the billing model and do not change based on usage patterns or hidden credit multipliers.
The AI Client Finder does not verify email addresses. It finds businesses and pulls public contact data. Email discovery is handled separately by the email finder feature, which uses third-party enrichment APIs to locate verified addresses.
Once you have a list of prospects, the audit engine checks each prospect's website for real problems. There are two audit types.
Instant audits use a fast AI model to scan a page and return a summary of performance issues, SEO gaps, design problems, and conversion weaknesses. These run in under ten seconds and are included in bulk on every plan: 50 per month on Starter, 175 on Pro, and unlimited on Expert.
Deep auditsuse a more capable AI model to produce a detailed, section-by-section breakdown of the prospect's site. Deep audits take longer but return more specific findings. Starter includes 10 deep audits per month, Pro includes 35, and Expert includes 75.
The audit engine is the feature that separates Prospectr from contact databases like Apollo or Hunter. A contact database gives you a name and email. The audit engine gives you a reason to reach out: a specific problem on the prospect's site that your service can fix.
The pitch generator reads the audit results for a specific prospect and produces pitch angles tailored to the problems found on their site. It factors in the service you sell (copywriting, web design, SEO, paid ads, or another specialty) and generates angles that connect your service to the prospect's actual weaknesses.
For example, if the audit finds that a prospect's landing page has no clear call to action and loads in 6.2 seconds, the pitch generator might produce: “Their landing page has no visible CTA above the fold and loads slowly on mobile. A redesigned hero section with a single CTA and compressed images could improve conversion rate and reduce bounce.”
This is not a mail merge variable. It is a complete pitch angle derived from real data about the prospect's site. That is what makes the outreach feel specific instead of templated.
The cold email drafter takes the pitch angle from the generator and writes a complete cold email. The email references the prospect's actual site issues, positions your service as the fix, and includes a clear call to action (usually a short meeting or a reply).
Every drafted email is editable before sending. Prospectr does not send anything without your review. You can adjust tone, length, and structure. The drafter saves time on the first draft, but you control the final version.
On Starter you get 30 outreach emails per month. On Pro, 125. On Expert, 150. These limits apply to AI-drafted emails. If you write your own emails using audit data, there is no limit on how many you send through your own email client.
Most cold emails do not get a reply on the first send. Follow-up automation solves this by sending timed follow-up messages when a prospect does not respond within a set number of days.
You configure the follow-up sequence: how many follow-ups, how many days between each one, and what each message says. Prospectr sends them automatically. If the prospect replies at any point, the sequence stops and the conversation moves to your pipeline.
Follow-up automation is available on the Expert plan only. On Starter and Pro, you can use the audit data and drafted emails to send follow-ups manually through your email client. The automation layer is the Expert-tier upgrade.
The pipeline tracks every prospect from first contact to closed deal. When a prospect opens your email, replies, or clicks a link, the pipeline updates automatically. You can move prospects through stages: contacted, replied, meeting booked, proposal sent, deal won, deal lost.
This replaces a spreadsheet or a separate CRM for most freelancers. If you already use a CRM and want to keep it, you can use Prospectr for prospecting only and manage relationships in your existing tool.
The pipeline is available on all plans. The difference between plans is how many prospects you can discover and how many emails you can draft, not whether you can track them.
The six features form a single workflow. Here is the sequence most users follow.
Step 1: Use the AI Client Finder to search for businesses in your target market. Filter by location, industry, and keywords.
Step 2: Run instant audits on the results to identify which prospects have real problems your service can solve. Skip the ones with good sites.
Step 3: Run a deep audit on your best prospects to get a detailed breakdown of their site issues.
Step 4: Generate personalized pitch angles from the deep audit findings. The pitch generator connects their problems to your service.
Step 5: Draft cold emails using the pitch angles. Review and edit each email before sending.
Step 6: Set up follow-up sequences for prospects who do not reply. Track everything in the pipeline.
The whole process, from search to sent email, takes about five minutes per prospect. Without Prospectr, the same workflow (manual research, site review, email writing) takes 30 to 45 minutes per prospect.
No product does everything. Here are four things Prospectr does not do, so you know before you sign up.
1. Prospectr does not guarantee replies. The audit engine and pitch generator increase the relevance of your outreach, but cold email response rates depend on your offer, your timing, and your target market. Prospectr improves the inputs. It cannot control the outcome.
2. Prospectr does not replace a dedicated CRM for large teams. The pipeline works well for solo freelancers and small agencies. If you have a ten-person sales team running complex deal stages, a full CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce is a better fit. Prospectr is built for one-person to five-person operations.
3. Prospectr does not scrape social media profiles on every plan. Social scraping (Instagram, LinkedIn data enrichment) is available on Pro and Expert only. Starter users get the business data from Google Maps and web directories, but not social profiles.
4. Prospectr does not offer a free tier for ongoing use. There is a limited free trial for testing, but ongoing prospecting requires a paid plan starting at £69 per month. If you send fewer than five cold emails per month, a paid tool may not be worth it.
Every number below comes from the live billing model. These are not marketing estimates. They are the actual monthly limits enforced by the platform.

Prospectr finds local and online businesses that match your ideal client profile, audits their websites for real problems, generates personalized pitch angles from those audit findings, drafts cold emails, sends automated follow-ups, and tracks replies in a deal pipeline. It replaces five or six separate tools with one workflow.
Apollo and Hunter give you contact data. Prospectr gives you contact data plus a website audit, a personalized pitch angle, a drafted email, automated follow-ups, and a reply tracker. The difference is that Prospectr generates a reason to reach out, not just a name and email address.
Yes. The audit engine checks performance, SEO, design, and conversion issues. Freelance web designers, SEO consultants, paid ads specialists, and small agencies all use Prospectr. The pitch generator adapts its angles to the service you sell.
On the Expert plan, yes. Gmail integration lets you send directly from your own email address inside Prospectr. On Starter and Pro, Prospectr drafts the email and you copy it into your email client or use a connected sending tool.
Prospectr stops counting new results against your quota and shows a usage warning. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limits. Cached results from previous searches do not count against your quota, so you can still access prospects you have already discovered.
There is no free trial. Prospectr starts at 69 pounds per month with no annual contract. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
Tom Stoic founded Prospectr. He worked as a freelance copywriter for three years and coached 214+ copywriters on client acquisition. He built Prospectr to solve the prospecting problem he saw across every coaching cohort: freelancers spending hours on manual research and sending generic cold emails that never got replies.
